Project Mirror Labyrinth Controls

Use the confirmed Project Mirror Labyrinth TAB and NO ENTRY gate controls, understand the no-controller warning, and fix common lobby input problems.

The two confirmed Project Mirror Labyrinth controls are both tied to entering a dungeon: press TAB and choose Play, or interact with the NO ENTRY gate. The official Roblox description also says NO CONTROLLER SUPPORT. No complete public first-party key map was available for movement, camera, card selection, combat actions, mobile input, or rebinding, so this guide does not fill those gaps with standard Roblox guesses.

Start a dungeon with TAB

Join the official experience and wait until the lobby UI is fully present. Press TAB once. Look for Play in the opened interface, select it, and wait for a server response before pressing again. If the key does nothing, click once inside the game window to restore focus, close any Roblox overlay or chat field, and retry.

The public description proves the menu path but not every intermediate screen. A current server may present a party, confirmation, warning, or mode selection before teleporting. Read those prompts rather than clicking through based on an older video. If Play remains unavailable, move to the gate method.

Start through the NO ENTRY gate

Find the lobby object labeled NO ENTRY and approach until the client displays an interaction prompt. Use the key or touch control shown there. The official description names the gate but does not state a universal interaction key, so the prompt is part of the instruction.

If there is no prompt, step away and approach again, check that another UI layer is not capturing focus, and confirm you are in the official place. A stale server near maintenance can also fail to begin a teleport. Rejoin once before reporting the gate as broken.

The Start a Dungeon guide continues from input troubleshooting into service, teleport, party, and run-load symptoms.

Controller support

The developer’s wording is direct: NO CONTROLLER SUPPORT. A controller may still move through the Roblox application or generate partial inputs, but partial response does not mean the experience supports a complete playable layout. Missing selection, card targeting, or menu actions can leave a run unusable.

Use keyboard and mouse for a reliable session. Do not install an unknown remapper or share account access to make a controller profile work. A community mapping can also become incorrect after a UI update and may send multiple actions from one button. Until the developer changes the public statement or the live settings provide a supported controller layout, treat controller play as unavailable.

Learn the current keyboard and mouse prompts

After entering, inspect the settings and each on-screen prompt. Record the action name and displayed input together. Do not assume the usual Roblox movement keys answer card selection, turn confirmation, camera behavior, or a special menu. The game may also change input by context between lobby, route screen, encounter, and results.

Test inputs in a low-risk state. Move the pointer across cards or buttons to find hover details. Use the visible confirmation and cancel prompts rather than pressing several keys rapidly. When an input has a cost or ends a turn, read the highlighted target and state before confirming.

Rebinding status is not publicly documented. If the live settings include key binding, change one action at a time and verify it no longer conflicts with TAB, chat, Roblox menus, or another critical action. If no binding menu exists, do not claim the game supports remapping through a hidden file.

Mobile and touch controls

The official description does not explain mobile support or publish a touch layout. Roblox may allow the experience to open on a mobile device while a particular in-game action remains difficult or unavailable. Treat the buttons shown by the current client as the only supported touch map you can rely on.

Before starting a run, confirm that you can open Play, interact with the gate, inspect card text, select a target, confirm or cancel, and reach the necessary menu. If one required action has no visible control, do not commit scarce resources to that session. Switch to a supported keyboard-and-mouse device when possible.

Troubleshoot an input problem

TAB does nothing

Restore window focus, close chat or Roblox overlays, and press it once after the lobby finishes loading.

Play is visible but inactive

Read any party, maintenance, or requirement message. Try the NO ENTRY gate before rejoining one fresh server.

The gate has no prompt

Approach from another angle, clear open menus, and check that the official Place ID is loaded.

Controller moves but cannot select

Partial Roblox input does not override the developer's no-controller warning. Switch to keyboard and mouse.

A card click selects the wrong target

Cancel if possible, slow down, and watch hover or highlight state before confirming. Exact target controls need live observation.

Inputs fail near Tuesday maintenance

Check the live service and verified group. The public schedule has no time zone, so do not assume a precise local window.

Control FAQ

What key opens Play?

Press TAB, then select Play. This is published by the developer on the Roblox experience page.

Can I use a controller?

The official description says no controller support. Plan around keyboard and mouse unless the developer publishes a new supported layout.

What is the interact key for the NO ENTRY gate?

Use the prompt shown by the live client. The public description confirms the gate route but does not name a universal key.

Can I rebind controls?

No public first-party information checked here confirms the current rebinding menu or limits. Inspect the live settings and test one change at a time if the option exists.
